Foreign investment: A tour to showcase opportunities in Peru

Five regions across the country will take part in an initiative aimed at boosting their appeal to foreign investors.

To uncover new opportunities and strengthen Peru’s business ecosystem, PROMPERÚ will lead a national tour visiting Lima, Cusco, Arequipa, La Libertad, and Cajamarca from March 13 to 28. Throughout the tour, events called Open House Inversiones 2025 will bring together key public and private sector players to foster collaboration and attract foreign direct investment (FDI).

Strategic meetings for growth

Over five editions, the events will highlight foreign investment promotion, collaboration between public and private institutions, and contributions to the value chain to drive efficient investments.

These meetings aim to create synergies with embassies, business associations, and government agencies. On the first day, held in Lima, participants explored strategies and actions to position Peru as an attractive destination for investors. The event also featured networking spaces, encouraging the exchange of ideas and the exploration of key opportunities for new project development.

Goals and priority sectors

By 2025, the company aims to secure over USD 400 million in investment commitments and conduct more than 20 promotional activities in strategic markets like the U.S., China, and Spain. Priority sectors include diversified manufacturing, food and beverages, renewable energy, tourism, and knowledge-intensive services — all vital for the country’s economic growth.

This national tour marks a significant step toward establishing the country as a prime destination for foreign investment. Public-private collaboration will create ideal conditions for new investments, driving economic growth and enhancing regional development across the five selected regions.
