Our objective is to facilitate an increase in foreign direct investment commitments and reinvestment of foreign companies in prioritized sectors.
About PROMPERU
The Commission for the Promotion of Peruvian Exports and Tourism (PROMPERÚ) is an entity under the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism of Peru (MINCETUR) and the body responsible for formulating, approving, executing, and evaluating strategies and plans for the promotion of Peru's image in tourism, exports, and foreign direct investment in the country.
The Division of Business Investment Promotion, part of PROMPERÚ, is responsible for promoting, attracting, retaining, and expanding foreign direct investment (FDI) in ventures aimed at generating goods and services in Peru. These investments are made in sectors other than infrastructure and public services, with the goal of increasing the exportable supply and tourism in prioritized economic sectors.

Mission
Work effectively and efficiently to enhance Peru's potential by attracting and retaining investments that generate innovative, sustainable development and dynamize the Peruvian economy. Except for private investments under the modalities of Public Private Partnerships (PPP), Projects in Assets (PA) and Public Works for Taxes (OXI).

Our vision is to be the main foreign investment promotion agency in Latin America, making Peru the main destination for foreign direct investment, within the framework of our competencies, to promote the innovative and sustainable development of the country.
